Kennise Elder
Kennise Elder is an Atlanta native. She studied Plant Science/Horticulture at Fort Valley State University. These studies included courses such as Botany, Soil Science, and Agriculture Economics.
During her time at the university, she helped to develop a 20 acre organic farm research plot. Kennise also worked with the USDA/ Natural Resource Conservation in the state of California, which is the largest agriculture producer in the United States. Her training also includes several workshops with urban agriculture guru Will Allen. Kennise uses her knowledge to develop the farm by dealing with all of the particulars of the actual Science of growing. |
Kwesi Elder
Kwesi Elder is an Atlanta native. He studied welding and carpentry at Atlanta Area Tech. He is a certified welder, and also a certified carpenter. Kwesi has 20 years of experience in landscape and design as well as an additional 10 years in commercial construction. Kwesi is responsible for land management and any construction projects on the farm.
