What is CSA?
Community Supported Agriculture is designed to create a community of farmers and consumers collectively working together to assist in developing local, fresh, and sustainable food systems!!
How Our Program WorksOur focus is to grow and source quality locally grown produce for our CSA members at Georgia Roots Urban Farm. Each pick-up week, we will survey our farm to determine what is available for harvest, and we will reach out to the farmers in our co-op to determine what they have available in their fields. We pack the produce into boxes and have them ready for pick up on selected days. Our program runs from October 2020 through February 2021. The program includes ten boxes at 2 per month, with pick-ups on the weekend.

What Members Need to Do
Pick up your share!
As a CSA member, you must pick up your share on selected days. To ensure the freshest produce, we will only harvest before your designated pick up days. You must pick up your share in our farm store on the day you have chosen every other week. If you cannot pick up your share, you are welcome to have a friend, family member, or neighbor pick up your share that week. Please contact us by phone or email with their name. Our goal is to make sure you enjoy fresh produce so give us advance notice and we will work with you. If you do not pick up or decide to have someone else pick up for you, then you forfeit your share that week, and it will be donated to a senior in the community. There is no refund on unclaimed shares. All shares will be picked up in the farm store at Georgia Roots Urban Farm.
Pick up days are: Fridays and Saturdays 10am to 2pm.

If you do not pick up your share and make no arrangements to have someone else pick up for you, then you forfeit your share for that week, and it will be donated to local charities.
